How To Print Files From Any Mobile Device Using DropboxOne of the problems with mobile phones like the iPhone, BlackBerry, Android and of course the iPad is that the connection between the mobile device and the printer could be much better.
If you work on a document on your iPad or iPhone and you want an easy way of printing just use Dropbox.
Your App store will have a few apps that will let you print, but the can be expensive and don't always work that well. Using Dropbox for wireless printing is free and easy, plus it doesn't require any additional software.
The first thing to do is make sure that you have a Dropbox account on your computer that is connected to a printer.
To send the print job from your mobile device you have two options, firstly you can email the document to Dropbox   or you can use on of the free apps from the App Store to upload the file directly into Dropbox.
Now you need to DOWNLOAD THIS ZIP FILE and double click the eprint.vbs file once you have placed it into Dropbox. The script will create a sub-folder inside your main Dropbox folder called PrintQueue where all of the print jobs will be queued and another sub-folder called Logs where all the completed print jobs will be stored.
You should now be ready to print from your mobile device, so send a test file from your mobile either by email or upload through Dropbox mobile app and your printer should go to work almost instantly.
The utility can handle multiple files and should print in most file formats that have been associated with the computer.
