How to never lose your motivation again… in 3 minutes following only 5 rules

(Aristocrats-hat)

Even if this is my first article on Smart Ass Academy, I will go straight to business. I hate introductions so, I’m not motivated to do it!

I wrote this article because I know that you, like other millions of people, know how important is to make your dreams come true. That is why you have to be motivated on long term. So, here are 5 important rules:

First rule: If you cannot keep up on doing something and you need to recharge your batteries in order to complete your tasks, DO something else. Short fact: change your activities if you don’t feel satisfied with your work.

Second rule: This is a very simple rule, but guesses what: there are only a few people who keep it. Do something that you enjoy every day, something different that brings you joy.  Short fact: do something that you like every day, without exception and with no excess.

Third rule:Keep focused on something that raises your moral and remember what are your goals and expectations. I’ll tell you a secret; I use to keep on my phone desktop background interesting quotes and powerful images about life or my new project logo. This is by far the most efficient way I ever tried to keep my eyes on something that really motivates me. Short fact: being motivated is like a movie subtitle, if you are not looking long enough to it you may not catch the sense.

Fourth rule: WIN! I have a lot of friends who hesitate in competing with me, you know why? Because I love wining, it’s that simple! Remember the gladiators of Rome; they knew that people wanted to see blood, spectacle and entertainment but the fight is for life and is not funny at all to be dead.. Here’s a quote that I like very much: IF YOU FINISH THE RACE IN SECOND PLACE YOU ARE THE FIRST LOSER. Short fact: Keep the show going on but don’t forget that your goal is to WIN, not only to entertain.

Fifth rule: Trust yourself! It can be weird, but this is the most important   thing. Please, don’t be a fool to think that here is a rat race: I trust in me if I am motivated and I am motivated if I trust in me. You have to start from something and in life is very important to have self-confidence even if the odds are not on your side on that moment. Short fact: Trusting yourself is never wrong, so why would you disrespect this rule?

Finally, I know you are saying that “rules are made to be broken” but think twice before crossing the red at traffic lights.
