Obviously, since we are women, we always like to add a little extra element of sexiness to our day. I can always rely on my perfume to accomplish this. As I am sure you have already figured out, working at Natures Garden, I have all of the designer duplications at my fingertips daily, so you might say that I have a slight addiction to my perfumes and body sprays.
My mother taught me during my teen years, that it is very easy to over scent yourself. She always said that “in the realm of perfume, a little squirt will last you all day. You never want to overuse perfume! Less is more. You want to make your statement by leaving a linger.” We all know someone who is notorious for wearing too much perfume. Her scent is always so thick in the air that it seems to tattoo the ozone permanently. I do not want to smoother others, so I learned the tricks of the trade. Mother always knows best.
I know that when I leave my house in the morning I smell scentsational. My fragrant appeal lasts all day too. I am always delighted when people ask me what I am wearing. It makes my day when I see their expressions as I tell them that I made the perfume myself using Natures Garden products. In fact, I save my little sister Lana bookoo dollars by showing her how to make her own designer dupe perfume.
I think that my scent ambiance is due to two factors. First, I have to give mad props to Natures Garden for having such superior quality fragrance oils and bases. It is a heavenly combo. Second, I know the secret to wearing perfume the right way, using your pressure points and pheromones to extend the life of your morning scent application. It does really work, but I must admit that I also consistently carry a small container of solid perfume in my purse, just in case I feel the need to freshen up. You never know when that will come in handy!

Now for the application process…
Have you ever noticed that many high end perfume retailers sell their perfume in kits? This is due to the fact that perfume is longer lasting, and more noticeable if you wear it in layers. Most kits contain a shower gel, lotion, and perfume. Some kits may even include an after shower powder. I always thought that this was some tactic to get women to purchase more. Although the latter may be true, it is really because high end perfumists know that layering the scent extends its scenting capabilities. It is like having our very own fragrance super heroine, Ivonna Scentwell, with her fragrant sidekicks Smelly Too Good Gelly and Capt. Set in Motion Lotion. They’re ready to set the world straight on self scenting.

It is always best to apply your perfume to clean skin and before you get dressed.
Apply perfume to some of your pressure point areas: your wrists, behind your earlobes on your neck, your neckline, the inside of your elbows, behind your knees, and your inner thighs. This is where the blood flow is closest to the skin. It also allows for your perfume to naturally diffuse since our skin is warmer in these locations. A key tip here is to always hit at least one of your lower body pressure points. You want your perfume to rise up on your body.
If you are using a spray and would rather have an all over disbursement, simply hold the bottle out in front of you (sprayer pointed away) and spritz it 3-4 times. This creates a mist cloud. Then, take a step into it.
That is it… once you are ready to apply your perfume, pause and remember “to maximize the scent effect, I must moderate, layer and connect.”
