How Far Is Too Far? 20/9/11

This question should always be present in everybodies life and you should always think anything through and be careful of the consequences that may follow any decision you make... 
People will try to help people in any walk of life and try to help everyone they ever meet but we all should be aware that we can jump to conclusions and some people don't want help...
There have been cases in the past were someone has helped another person only to have it thrown back in their face and get sued for obstruction or something silly like that...
As Humans we are hard wired to do certain things and act in a certain way in situations that arise in life, but through generations of evolution and changes in attitudes we have all found different ways of coping with the everyday challenges in different ways...
Here's something to think about:
You see a friend in a situation how far do you go to help them?
I guess you would do almost anything in your power and in reasonable means to help them...
You see a total stranger in the same situation how far do you go to help them?
Most people would not put as much effort in to help a total stranger or would just walk past with no thought...
Why is it different?  
In life people should treat others as they would like to be treated...
You should be who you want to be, but realise that in life your actions should be measured by yourself  because you are the only person that kmows your own limits and know how far too far is....
