How difficult is it to tell your parents? It is very difficult but you NEED to tell them and if not them then a responsible adult that you trust.

Please do not fear hurting your mom by telling her, she loves you and will not want you going through this alone. She needs to know that the man she is with is capable of such a crime. She will not hate you and will not think you are lying.

Do not tell your mom the full details if this is too hard for you, but do please sit her down and say “I was raped”. The rest will then follow. The sooner you can do this the better.
