Hope AND Do The Work: People Skills

My weight has crept up on me. Sad and true and I did it.

So I’ve been on a quest the last 8 days to fix this – and I’m hopeful the weight will creep back off. However hope is only my fuel –

I still must do the things that produce the result.

I am eating lighter – a lot lighter. I am exercising harder – or at least it feels like it!

And it’s with the hope that I will be at what I consider my ideal weight that I do these things – I am hopeful, I am expectant, I am optimistic and I’m doing the work.

So this quote by Charles Sawyer is inspiring me, “Of all the forces that make for a better world, none is so indispensable, none so powerful, as hope. Without hope men are only half alive. With hope they dream and think and work.”

My challenge for you today is this: What are you hoping for? And is the hope real and strong enough to fuel the work and the actions it takes to bring what you want into your life?

This is the same question for weight loss and relationships – what do you want and what will you do to get what you want?

What can you do today to put a plan around your hopes?

Remember You Create Your Day by the way You Think! Be Present!

Go make it a Magnificent Day!

Blessings, Shawna
