London based duo Honne, unveiled their latest single ‘Gone Are The Days‘ back in November. Check out my November selections post as a reminder. Putting his own spin on things, is London born, Vienna based producer SOHN, who delivers a thoroughly captivating remix.
SOHN introduces skittering beats and moody synths amidst melodic piano lines, all the while seamlessly intertwining Andy’s gritty vocals throughout. While SOHN captures the ambient and soulful nature or the original, there’s an intensity that builds over growling synths, perfectly capturing SOHN’s commanding style.
No upcoming dates for SOHN yet, but having worked with the likes of Banks, Lana Del Ray and his recently produced single with Kwabs, expect plenty of new music this year. In the meantime, check out his Soundcloud page and listen back to some his Radio 1 Residency shows.
