Honiton Bowling Club goes Green thanks to Dorset’s NGPS

Poole based renewable energy suppliers NGPS Ltd have told us that they have recently installed solar panels at Honiton Bowls Club in Devon this Summer 2013.

The Bowling Club have fitted 7.9 kW of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Panels to generate electricity from the sun, to help reduce its running costs and reduce its carbon footprint.

Nick Good from NGPS says: “The £15K system with very efficient 260 watt ELPS modules and Enphase micro inverters will pay for itself in less than six years. All the equipment is guaranteed for 25 years and the feed in contract is 20 years.”

Let’s hope that Dorset sports clubs of all kinds will follow their example!
