With summer just around the corner (at least, we hope so…), and the vast majority of honeymooners getting ready to jet off to exotic climes, I thought it was about time to ressurect my honeymoon wardrobe posts. Rather than bombard you with ideas, I’ve split them into bitesize posts, each focussing on a different style – or type – of honeymoon, and thus different clothes.
Today, I’m looking at ideas for European city honeymoons – or, in fact, any honeymoon where you want clothes that are practical, comfortable, but ultimately will look good and make you feel rather chic and sophisticated. Specifically today, great trousers and tops that’ll mix and max well throughout your trip (skirts and dresses to follow next week). The key with exploring a city is in layering, especially in Spring and Autumn when the weather can be a little more temperamental. So think soft, unstructured tops, cosy but not-too-heavy cardigans, and lightweight and easy to carry jackets. I’m loving the mix of prints and colours on offer in the high street shops at the moment, and whatever your taste, you’re sure to find something you love.
