Himalaya Herbals Lip Balm Review

Hi Everyone,

Winter is coming to an end and spring season will be here soon. I usually get chapped lips in winter and spring. I like herbal products and the lip balm I applied throughout this winter season is from Himalaya which comes in tube. I wanted a herbal lip balm and when I saw this I thought to give this a try.

Product Claim:-

Nourishes, softens and protects

Enriched with wheatgerm oil, a rich source of vitamin E, Himalaya Herbals lip balm nourishes and softens your lips. It also contains Carrot seed oil, a natural sunscreen, to protect your lips from the harsh UV rays of the sun.

Price:-

INR 30

Quantity:-

10gms

Ingredients:-

(Each gm contains) Oils Eranda (Ricinus communis)# 10 mg, Garijara (Daucus carota)# 10 mg, Godhuma (Triticum sativum)# 10 mg, Hyamaraka (Wrightia tinctoria)# 10 mg, Narikela (Cocos nucifera)# 10 mg.

Directions for use:-

Apply a thin, smooth layer of Lip Balm on your lips. Reapply throughout the day as needed for supple, smooth lips. Best for dry, chapped lips.

My opinion on the product:-

It comes in white opaque tube packaging with green screw open cap. Under the cap is the slanted tip applicator with a small hole to dispense the right amount of balm and the slanted tip to spread it on lips. I don’t usually use the tip to apply, just squeeze out a little on my clean ring finger and apply.

The balm itself is neither too thick or runny but a gel like and transparent in color. It has a strong smell which is fruity and pleasant. It melts on lips instantly and spreads very easily. It keeps my lips soft and smooth for 4-5 hours after application. It doesn’t make my lips greasy but nourishes it to keep my chapped lips supple.

It is a good budget friendly lip balm and herbal too if you are looking for one. Just a little amount is needed every time so this small tubes goes long way.

What I Liked:-

  • Affordable
  • Easy to apply tip
  • Decent packaging
  • Fruity and pleasant fragrance
  • Spreads easily
  • Melts instantly
  • Doesn’t feel waxy
  • Moisturizes lips
  • Herbal ingredients like wheat germ and carrot seed oil
  • Keeps my lips soft for longer periods

What I didn’t Liked:-

Nothing. But would like to have this with a little tint.

Will I repurchase and recommend:-

Yes, it is nice and affordable lip balm and I recommend this to everyone.

Rating:-

4/5
