One of the best FPS games ever made, Half-Life 2 is no stranger to gamers. I myself, can’t even begin to count the number of hours I’ve spent playing around in that dystopian Earth, leading Gordon Freeman to saving the world and solving puzzles with that Gravity Gun. Can you imagine how cool it would be if someone made a movie inspired by Half Life?

You don’t have to imagine. Someone already did. Long-time Half Life fan Nick Bertke took the challenge to bring the game world to real life and the end result was pretty amazing. Check out his short film to see how awesome it is.
We may never get the much expected final Episode for Half Life series, but that doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten about it. This is just one way of remembering the good old times, when games used to have detailed stories as well as exciting gameplay.
