I don’t think that this is right that a team of talented, young British athletes have to be funded via crowdfunding to compete at the highest level but hey, there it is.
These guys and girls are all excellent surfers and have trained hard, worked hard and are dedicated. I strongly believe that there is a wealth of surfing talent in this country and these young surfers should be given every opportunity to succeed. They’re ambassadors for our country and brilliant role models. They don’t sit around on their game consoles all day; they surf, they train in the gym, run and study.
