Hear/see a Forceful New Track from Tv on the Radio [video]

Today rules because TV On The Radio just dropped a new single from their upcoming fifth studio album, Seeds. “Happy Idiot” is a rush to the senses with a propulsive rhythm and aggressive guitar lines that do well to delineate its agitated state. “Waving at cars/I’m gonna bang my head to the wall/’Til I feel like nothing at all/I’m a happy idiot/To keep my mind off you.” The track is the TVOTR’s third time we’ve heard something new from them since 2011′s Nine Types of Light shortly after which the band lost their bassist, Gerard Smith, to lung cancer. Last year in April they dropped intense singles, “Mercy” and “Million Miles”, and announced some upcoming new material in the form of Seeds, and today we have been given the gift of another new track with corresponding lyric video and a release date.
