…have Happy Travels

…have happy travels

...why the long face?

It’s a sad day in St. Louis and a travel day for the still World Series hopeful Cardinals.

For those who don’t know, the Crusaders went to the World Series yesterday evening, only to see our beloved Cardinals fall to the Rangers.

As they head to Texas today their “happy flight” mantra (an inspiration) suffers a bit of a blow.

I can’t say I particularly enjoyed seeing my Cardinals lose, and it sure did mess with their happy flight streak, but I still feel like today could be an okay travel day.

It’s a chance to regroup, reflect, and realize that we played a pretty good game of baseball up until the very end.

For now though, maybe it’s a good thing to take a moment and not think about baseball.

I’ll pause for all outrage and comments about sacrilege…

…all better now?

As hard as it may be to admit, one way or another, a week from now it will all be over.  You will have to return to a baseball-less life…for a few months anyway.

Think of this as practice.  We’re preparing you for many consecutive baseball-free moments by starting with one.

Although, truth be told, this is a very heavily baseball-influenced baseball-free moment.

At any rate, we tried.  Happy flight to the Cardinals, and (lest we forget)…

GO CARDS!!!
