We arrived early before it got dark and immediately saw a crowd. We just knew it would be a good turn out for this fundraising event.The had many giveaways for raffles that you could put your ticket into a bag for a chance to win.
So many small businesses donated for the raffles
It was amazing to see so many businesses throughout the state that participated. A lot of small businesses. They also had a silent auction where you could place bids on items and the person with the highest bid would win it.

Small business like the owners Jewel from Holistic Health Center of RI and Chris from World's Fare Chef whom we both knew and were able to sit and chat with.

I met several of Stacie's friends, one of whom Stacie wrote about in her blog, and had connected with right before her death. I often wondered through the night what Stacie would have thought about so many people coming together because of her to help her children left behind. It was a bitter sweet time and the organizers did an incredible great job of putting this event together for them. It was so crowded after 8 that you could barely walk around inside.
The crowd was incredible at the event including our State Representative Jim Langevin
