Happy Thanksgiving Week!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING WEEK!!!
Yes, this is my favorite holiday. Why? It provides a chance to reflect on all the blessings that we are given throughout the preceding year or years and to take stock on where we are in life.
No, it's not all about turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce, but about the bounty of friendship, kindness, and generosity that is shared amongst all of you.
It would be impossible to express just how much your friendship means to me, but I do so appreciate it.
While I've been a bit quiet the past two months, I've been doing a lot of reading, reflecting, and writing.
Right now I'm in a bit of reader heaven as I read through Mariah Stewart's oeuvre. Yes, I'm reading all of her books in chronological order and I am just loving each and every one. First of all, I can't believe I hadn't read any of her books before being given a review copy of At the River's Edge in January 2014. I made a point of reading all her Chesapeake Diaries series at that time as well as her Last series, but never had the chance to go further back. But now I am. . .
Oh my, yes, this has been a time of absolute splendor. I've read authors and series I hadn't ever had the chance to and have enjoyed most all of them. I branched out a bit from the genres I had focused on to some others and have discovered reader gold.
I'll be sharing those impressions as well as catching up with a very backlogged blog - little by little. My apologies to all if during this time I neglected to post a promised share, spotlight, or interview. I promise I will still share it ... so do check back.
I won't go into detail about the "why" I was offline, but there were a myriad of reasons.
So, most of all, I'm thankful your still reading Fab Fantasy Fiction. And I look forward to hearing from you either here or on Facebook.
Cheers!
Emsy
