THE SHOWS

I decided to watch  Melo and my NY Knicks beat LeBron and his Cavs last night. In between, I made sure to get Scandal and Parenthood in. I'll catch up on my CW shows over the weekend.
Scandal Okay, so Bitzie Cooper needs her own web series doesn't she? I'd like to see her running the country while her ADD husband was banging his secretary 2 times a day, wouldn't you? She's so cool she got the smell out of Mel! Loved Gabby/Abby calling out the President for Olivia and then calling out Cyrus for leaving his phone out for Michael to read. I can't stand him and sorry Ellen, but I'm hating Portia and dying to know what gel she's using to hold her hair back in that horrible hairdo. If Fitz beating the crap out of Jake didn't send Olivia over the edge and Olivia's Dad f'ing with both of her men didn't send her over the edge then Leonard Carnahan using her to go down as the best Presidential assassin of all time certainly can't either. Pretty impressive for Quinn to find the locker that fits the key in all of Washington DC in one episode. The question now: Why was it filled with photos of Olivia Pope? I wasn't sure  why Huck became so obsessed with that video game, but now we get it. He's playing his son. Clever, very clever. Hope's still alive for Fitz and Liv and with Jake heading to Supermax, I guess hopes alive for him too. 2 episodes before left. Fall Finale? Already? We just got Mellie back, they just got Cyrus's hair right and now the holiday hiatus. UGH. Oh…song? Last day for October bonus points.

Parenthood Other than the difference in Amber's belly, why the 3 month flash forward? Nothing really changed. Ruby's still a mess, Dylan's still rating max a 2.5. Nora hasn't grown, the luncheonette's still not making any money, Drew's still in school and Sarah and Hank are shockingly still together. I was thinking about it as I was watching last night, nobody except Julia actually makes any money and yet everyone has a pretty nice house. The luncheonette pays Amber's rent, and Crosby and Adam's mortgage? How does that work? Can't imagine Kristina's making much at the school. Does Sarah make much working with Hank? Does Jasmine even work? Who's paying for Berkley? I don't want to dig too deep here because I love the show so much but it does keep me wondering.
THE OTHER STUFF -Meredith Viera's show's been renewed for a second season and Joel McHale's contract for Talk Soups been extended through 2016. Congrats to Meredith and Joel. I doubt they even know each other but both of them will keep on talking for awhile. -WE cancelled The Divide after one Season. I watched the pilot and just wasn't feelin it. I'm telling you, someone needs to utilize this gift I have.

Tomorrow's the last day for quite a few Movies and TV shows on Netlix. Some key titles that you won't be able to find: American Psycho, Apocalyse Now, The Big Chill, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Footloose, Say Anything, St. Elmos Fire, Thelma and Louise, and Under the Tuscan Sun. They got rid of those to make room for Nebraska, Kingpin, Total Recall, Star Trek VI, Airplane, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (AWESOME) Fatal Attraction, Braveheart & Cleopatra.  I wonder how the Netflix people decide what to dump and what to keep. I'm sure it's all based on activity or inactivity or something, but those are some good flicks they're dumping.

-Great news Game of Thrones people, the cast (of course we don't know who) has renegotiated their contracts for seasons 5 &6 and even scored themselves a raise in return guess how wins? Everyone as they also signed on for a 7th season. Maybe George will have written another book by then and we'll get even more Khaleesi, Jamie and Tyrion.
