As promised, today’s exhibit is the only Easter-themed item in the permanent collection. Over the years, Harvey licensed a number of holiday-themed dolls. We have already seen two, the Christmas-themed “Happy Houday!” doll and the Valentine’s Day-themed “Can’t Buy Me Love” doll. Today we have Richie carrying a large carrot and wearing rabbit ears and an ugly jacket. I am guessing it is supposed to be a rabbit costume. Perhaps it was too warm for him to wear a fursuit? There is one other holiday-themed doll in the permanent collection, hopefully I will post it later this year. In the meantime, here’s Richie and his unfortunate choice of outerwear:
