Happy Birthday to my blog. And what a year it has been.
It was a year today when I wrote and published my very first blog post. I actually cant believe that it has been a year, time as flown by.
I absolutely love blogging. To be honest if I hadn't started a blog I have absolutely no idea what I would be doing. It is so much fun and it allows me to be myself.
I have loved watching my blog grow, from its ever increasing number of GFC followers to its number of page views and the comments.
The comments that you leave are both heart warming and lovely and so I would like to thank you I really do appreciate it when you comment.
When I look back at some of my first ever blog posts, here, here, here and here...i'm like omg. Some of them are truly terrible! But I have learned a lot and learnt from some of the best and most amazing bloggers. I have found so many new blogs, learnt so many things and I cant wait to learn more.
My favorite moment of blogging was when I reached 100 followers. It put the biggest smile on my face ever. I don't blog because I want followers, I blog because I love it. And to think that 100 of you also loved what I was blogging enough to follow shimmerofpink was so amazing, and now there are 146 of you following my blog and so thank you to you.
I thought it would be nice to look back on some of my favorite posts of the year, please also tell me what your favorite post of the year has been.
