Han Solo and Boba Fett Get Spin-off Movies

Posted on the 07 February 2013 by Ningauble

Disney recently confirmed standalone “Star Wars” spin-off movies were in the made and rumor mill started turning. First there were talks about a Yoda biopic. Disney didn’t confirm it – yet – but EW has posted up a report which claims films that focus on the early days of Han Solo and Boba Fett are being planned.

It was previously reported that Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg were exploring possible storylines to develop some of the series’ supporting characters in spin-off movies. They may be working on these two or a possible Yoda movie, or even ones that we do not know of yet.

The report adds that the Solo film would take place in the time between the two trilogies, before Solo met Luke Skywalker. The Fett film would be set in between two of the three original films.
