Halloween FOTD: Dark and Vampy

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy Halloween, everyone! I wanted to do some more dramatic makeup for the day, while trying out some new products. I wasn't going to do a post about it, but I am a little obsessed with it.  I didn't take a lot of pictures for this post since I was short on time. I only took pictures of three of the products: the eyeshadows I used, concealer palette, and the lipstick.

Steps:
  1. I primed my under eye area using e.l.f.'s Hydrating Under Eye Primer.
  2. While waiting for that to dry, I moisturized/primed my face using Clinique's Turnaround Daytime Moisturizer for some radiance.
  3. Using the salmon shade from the Catrice concealer palette, I attempted to hide my dark circles. It looks crazy at first, but once blended, it actually does a great job.
  4. Using a flat eyeshadow brush, I applied M.A.C's Painterly all over my eye, and even on the under eye area as well.
  5. Using the same brush, I applied Dangerous Cuvée to my eyelid.
  6. From the Japonesque Pixelated Color Eyeshadow Palette, I applied shade 10 (a royal purple) on top. Then on top of that, I added shade 07, which is a darker purple with some blue sparkle.
  7. Using 01 (a matte cream shade), I blended everything out. Then I blended a little of 06 in the crease, which is a gorgeous teal. I used the same matte beige to clean that up. I used 02, a shimmery beige, to highlight my brow bone.
  8. To line my eyes and create a wing, I used M.A.C's Fluidline in Blacktrack.
  9. I used Benefit's Give Me Some Brow to fill in my brows and keep them in place.
  10. I use two coats of M.A.C's False Lashes Mascara and a coat of the Lash Boosting Fibers in between.
  11. Using a sponge, I applied one pump of foundation.
  12. To lightly contour, I used the darkest shade in the Catrice concealer palette.
  13. On my lips, I used Hard Candy's new Fierce Effects Lipstick in Prowler. I have no idea how that ombre lip happened. It was not intentional, but I like it. Haha.

I love how this turned out, and the Japonesque Pixelated Color Eyeshadow Palette is amazing. You need it in your life.
