By Kicks @Chrisboucher73

This post will focus on the number of scoring chances for and against each Montreal Canadiens player has been directly responsible for per-minute of even-strength ice-time.
The first graph shows each player's scoring-chance numbers in four games versus the Tampa Bay Lightning, while the second graph shows the scoring-chance numbers since the Olympic games.
SCORING-CHANCES FOR AND AGAINST PER-MINUTE PLAYED (VS. TAMPA BAY)
Tomas Plekanec has been directly responsible for the most even-strength scoring-chances-for per-minute against Tampa Bay this season. Other players with solid SC numbers include; Brandon Prust, Brian Gionta, and Brendan Gallagher.
Mike Weaver has produced the most scoring-chances per-minute among defensemen, but has only played one game versus the Lightning (in a Habs jersey). Among other d-men, Andrei Markov has produced the most ES scoring-chances per-minute played.
In terms of scoring-chances against per-minute, Weaver also leads all players in this category; but his sample size remains smaller than most Habs players.  Outside of Weaver, Douglas Murray has been responsible for more ES scoring-chances-against per-minute played.
David Desharnais has been directly responsible for more scoring-chances against per-minute (vs. Tampa) than any other forward, while Rene Bourque, and Thomas Vanek (SSS) have allowed the most scoring-chances against per-minute among wingers.
