Harvest Wine & Food Festival, scheduled for November 2 – 5 in WaterColor is shaping up to be South Walton’s hottest new event. Produced by Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation (DCWAF), Harvest Wine & Food Festival will provide patrons the opportunity to sip and savor some of the world’s finest wine and culinary selections while enjoying the beautiful beach town of WaterColor.

In addition to a wide variety of wines, a powerhouse line-up of Gulf Coast restaurants is gearing up to showcase the best in coastal cuisine during the festival’s Grand Tasting scheduled for Saturday, November 4 from 1 to 4 pm in Cerulean Park. The Grand Tasting is Harvest Wine & Food Festival’s main event and is designed to highlight harvest season at the beach.

Pitmasters from Panama City’s Back Beach Barbecue will be on-site serving up their famous 12-hour smoked meats and homemade sauces, while Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer along with sister restaurants Jackacudas Seafood + Sushi and Cuvee Kitchen + Wine Bar are coming together to feature all things seafood. A large raw bar, hand-rolled sushi, and shrimp and grits are all on the agenda for the 2017 Grand Tasting. Yum!

Restaurant Paradis, located in Rosemary Beach, will join forces with Destin favorite Cuvee Kitchen + Wine Bar to provide high-end cuisine within the VIP tent. I’m ready!

“Guests should be prepared to taste their way through every staple of coastal cuisine ranging from freshly caught seafood to farm fresh vegetables and cheeses, all the way to traditional smoked barbeque prepared by the south’s finest pit masters,” said Destin Charity Wine Auction Foundation President, John Russell.

Third generation bee keeper and owner of Honey Hutch, Amy Wright will be located within the farmer’s market section of the festival showcasing her locally produced honey. Additional fare from Destin Ice Market will be located alongside Amy at the festival. Each food station will be hosting interactive demonstrations throughout the afternoon to further engage guests.

It wouldn’t be a DCWAF event without the opportunity to bid high and bid often. A silent auction featuring a variety of rare wines, staycations and unique experiences will open Friday, November 3 and will run through Sunday, November 5 at noon. The opportunity to purchase wine and other merchandise on-site will also be available throughout the festival.
