GRMLN Builds Anxiety with New Track ‘Void’ [Premiere]

“Void” is an addictive new listen by GRMLN, the Nor Cal-based project by Yoodoo Park. The song delivers some heavy brain fuzz born from a catchy, precise mixture of desire and anxiety. With Park’s hazy voice atop a jumpy guitar line that’s constantly moving forward, the song instills its own sense of urgency, as Park sings lines like “my mind is running out of time and space to fill the void I made.” On the track Park says, “I wrote this song about anxiety and how easily people get distracted by it. It’s a song about hating the feeling of being nervous and anxious and weird all the time.” This single leaves you with eager anticipation for more to come, and thankfully, GRMLN has a full album in the making!
