Futuristic wearable gadgets, self-driving cars, 100X fast broadband connections, and Android-powered technology are just a few of the technologies that Google currently working on to amaze us in the very near future. Their latest acquisition of the robotics design company Boston Dynamics came as a surprise for everyone, even though it really shouldn’t be.

Right now, it’s clear as crystal that Google is the future of technology. Not Apple. Not Microsoft. And certainly not Intel. Pretty soon, we will be seeing the name Google all over the world and possibly in space as well. Which is the best explanation of Google buying Boston Dynamics, the maker of bi-pedal robots like Big Dog and PETMAN. Of course, Google won’t make more copies of those robots that does nothing but playing around, but I definitely see a future where the company would use these robotic technologies to improve its’ current ongoing projects like driver-less cars or public service robots like the one that K5 Mall Cop robot and maybe even for space explorations.

According to New York Times, Google’s Andy Rubin was behind this massive acquisition, who recently left the head of Android position, after using that small startup OS to power up most of the mobile devices in the world. So, there’s no doubt this acquisition will be turned into something big, soon.

In the meantime, Bloomberg is reporting that Google has plans to jump into making its own processors and say goodbye to Intel, the current supplier of server chips. Google is interested in improving the ARM technology and develop powerful processors to power up Google’s server systems. Google is already making many devices on their own, and it makes sense for them to start making own parts, especially for servers since Google has many massive data centers in many locations.

All these news points to one direction – The future will be “Googled.”
