WHAT I THOUGHT

I loved the concept of Good Me, Bad Me - exploring the twisted bond between a child killer and her daughter. Who could resist such a book? Good Me, Bad Me is a great read and not as dark as I was expecting. I thought the scenes with Milly being bullied by her foster-sister were realistic and really well written and one of the most interesting aspects of the novel. Would things have turned out differently if Milly had spoken out about the bullying? If her foster-father had been more honest? This gook raises a lot of questions and not all of them are answered but that's okay. Good Me, Bad Me is very disturbing at time but there is a lot of light in at as well. The trial of Milly's mother is brilliantly written. Good Me, Bad Me is unmissable.
