Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?!

By Thecurlycasualista @curlycasualista
Ladies. Let's talk the Golden Globes, in which celebs and their entourages ate, drank, and had a good time on our televisions this past Sunday. I always look forward to awards season, because I get to look at pretty men and women in pretty clothes that I will never be able to afford. Red carpets are always a good time. But this year? WOW. If you follow me on Twitter, you will see that I felt this year's red carpet was just abominable. Ill-fitting dresses, terrible prints, worse hair. It all just came together to amazingly underwhelming. Here are my pics for the good, the bad, and the...well, indescribable.
The Good:
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! I'm not a huge fan of Hayden Panettiere, either in real life or on Nashville, but there's no denying that she's a good fit for her bitchy, immature character. There's also no question that this is a good dress for her. It fits, and while a little wedding dress-y, it's a good color and style for her.
Julianne Moore, who is one of my favorite actresses, consistently kills it, and this awesome black and white combo is no different. #winning
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! I'm sort of over Anne Hathaway. She annoys me. But I feel like I'm one of the only people who doesn't think she looks too skinny. I think she looks great, especially with the hair! And this dress, while not my favorite of those she's worn, is still pretty good in light of the other fiascos that were visible on this carpet.
Jennifer Lawrence definitely has an interesting fashion sense, and this dress is no different. Love the bodice, not such a fan of the full skirt, but I think she works it.
The Bad:
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?!  I really, seriously dislike Lena Dunham (call me crazy). She just annoys me. And she wears really questionable outfits (did you see this?) This is no different. The color is meh, but the dress looks heavy, matronly, and has really weird seaming. It also doesn't look like it fits and she seems like she's holding it up by scrunching up her shoulders. I'm not sure if that's because she's nervous, or because it's actually going to fall down. Nevertheless, this dress needs to go away.
Lady Mary, I love you. And I love the silhouette of that dress. But that top! What is it?! No weird lacey stuff, people!
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! It just kept getting worse! Dresses made out of contact paper and that awful sheer over a miniskirt trend. Why won't it go away? Why.
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! There were just so many unflattering silhouettes! And everyone's boobs looked awful. Prop the girls up! And Taylor Swift, stick with the cutesy, whimsical dresses. They work for you. That does not.
I don't even have words for how sad this red carpet made me. Sigh. And then this happened:
Golden Globes: The Good, The Bad and The HOLY GOD, WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?! What, what, what, what, what, what. These are so. awful. My mom has a table clothe that looks exactly like Lucy Liu's dress, and I have a sarong somewhere that looks just like Halle Berry's. NO.
