What: GoGeomatics Canada Launch Party

Details: GoGeomatics Canada has recently discontinued their existing GIS job-board site that has been serving Canadians looking for Geomatics related work since 2006 in order to create an all new Geomatics career portal.
The new site goes far beyond a flashy new logo and graphic design as it now has many new features integrated into it such as a Geomatics Magazine, new resumes tools that now support features like uploading photos and videos and many other up-gradable features to help job seekers get their resumes into the hands of potential geomatics related companies. (A review of the new GoGeomatics Canada career portal will be posted to the GIS Jobs section of the CanadianGIS.com site soon once they get all the bugs ironed out, however in the mean time you should check out their new site for yourself: GoGeomatics.ca)
To help promote the re-launch of their new job site they are having a little celebration open house party at the Fox & Feather in Ottawa (GoGeomatics Canada is based out of Ottawa).
If you’re interested in geomatics in Canada, are in the National Capital Region and would like to learn more about the GoGeomatics Canada career portal and their new services that they offer then you should consider joining GoGeomatics in Ottawa for this free event.
GoGeomatics Canada has also mentioned that there will be upcoming events in Toronto and Niagara near the end of the month. So people in those regions of Ontario that can not make it Ottawa, there is still opprotunity to meet up with the GoGeomatics Canada team.
