Hello girls, how are you doing? We all get bored with monotonous things in life. A little change is always good. As you all know that, I remain a little busy these days due to my internship, I hardly get time to go to the salon for pampering my skin and hair. It has been months since I got a haircut and it is high time that I get a haircut again but again, due to time constraint I am managing with it somehow.
A few days back, Godrej Nupur sent over a super cute hamper to me and when I opened it I did a little happydance in my head! Due to the ongoing stress from last month, my hair already looks very dull and rough. I decided to take some time out on Sunday and color my hair at home. Though I am afraid of experimenting with hair colors but when I read how Godrej Nupur hair colors have the goodness of coconut oil & henna, I went on to try it out.

About the product:Godrej Nupur Coconut Henna Crème is a crème based hair color enriched with the conditioning of henna and nourishment of coconut oil. It promises a formula that is non dripping and contains no ammonia. It comes in four shades Burgundy, Natural Brown, Dark Brown and Natural Black.
Directions to use: Mix the hair color and developer in a plastic bowl. Mix it thoroughly and apply on your hair focussing on the roots if you have gray hair. Leave it for 30 minutes and then shampoo your hair.

My experience: Preparing the hair color was very easy because the sachets are premeasured. Thank god, Godrej Nupur hair colorcan be conveniently mixed in a bowl and applied to the hair evenly. The developer will develop the color and hold it to the hair for a long period of time. Since the hair color has coconut as one of its main ingredients, it had a coconut fragrance instead of artificial and strong fragrances that most hair colors contain.
I did not wan to try out different color for my hair so I decided to apply the black hair color so that it adds more shine to my already black hair. The quantity was enough to color my mid length hair evenly. After application, I relaxed for 30 minutes, watched an episode of Modern Family, before finally washing it off with my regular shampoo. Post the hair wash, my hair felt softer and shinier.
It has been a week since I have applied and my hair still feels very manageable and sleek. Thanks to Godrej Nupur, I can now think of coloring my hair and next time, I will definitely try out the burgundy color!
