My 'go to' lip
I must admit, I'm not really one for lipstick. I have very thin lips which do not seem to look particularly good coated in lippy - I have tried lots! I do, however, like to wear a lip tint. I have several of these, including a couple from Topshop and the above from Maxfactor. I was actually given the Lipfinity Lasting Lip Tint (in 03 Pink Princess) as a birthday gift last September, and considering the amount I've used it, I am impressed with how long its lasted! I'm not sure how much they cost exactly, but think it's around the £7/£8 mark.
I love using this lip tint with Vaseline Rosy Lips - I simply apply my lip tint as usual, and once its dry dab on some Vaseline. This not only gives my lips a little moisture (one of the problems with using a lip tint - they can really dry your lips!) but also adds a little shine without being 'glossy'. I'm not overly keen on totally matte lips; I like a bit of shine!As you can see from the images above, I've used this Maxfactor lip tint a lot in the last nine months - it is pretty battered! Unlike a lot of lip tints I've tried, this hasn't dried up and continues to apply evenly. As with lipsticks, you can build up the color by applying more coats. I usually use two coats, and then some vaseline, and the color lasts for a couple of hours.
