Glowing Light from Tabernacle in Medjugorje Church

“This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.” ~Luke 22:19

Medjugorje (literal meaning: “between mountains”) is a town located in the Herzegovina region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at an altitude of 660 ft above sea level, close to the border of Croatia. Since 1981, it has become a popular site of Catholic pilgrimage due to reports of alleged apparitions of the Virgin Mary to six local Catholics.

The Vatican is very careful and takes a long time — as it should — to investigate and authenticate alleged apparitions. The investigation of Medjugorje is ongoing, and no final directive or conclusion has yet been reached. But the Catholic Church has not banned, condemned, or disproved the reported apparitions in Medjugorje. While no official pilgrimages — a group organized and led by bishops, priests, and other clergy — can be endorsed or organized until a final decision has been reached, private pilgrimages are accepted and encouraged by many clergy, including Pope/St. John Paul II. In every Catholic church, there is a tabernacle containing the Eucharist — the consecrated Host that is the very Body of Christ.

The name Međugorje literally means “between mountains”. At an altitude of 200 m (660 ft) above sea level

Below is a video taken during Mass at St. James Catholic Church in Medjugorje, titled in Italian, “Luce dal Tabernacolo a Medjugorje durante il Padre Nostro (Light from the Tabernacle in Medjugorje during the [recitation of] the Our Father),” which was uploaded to YouTube on May 24, 2015.

The video shows a light or a glow from the tabernacle. At the 0:20 mark, the light emits a big burst.
