As many of you know I've been accepted to the Climate Reality Corps Leadership training program that takes place this March in Denver, Colorado. This course will teach me the scientific facts of climate change, and what I can do to help my community understand and prepare for what is to come. The training is free, but I have to pay for my travel. Since I'm traveling from Ontario, Canada it's a costly trip- but it will be worth it. That being said, I created a fundraiser on Go Fund Me to help cover the cost of travel.
To help me with my journey to becoming a Climate Reality Corps Leader, local eco-friendly retailer terra20 has graciously donated a $50 gift hard to their store to use as a draw. Each person who donates to my Go Fund Me page will get one ballot in a draw to win the $50 gift card. On February 25, 2017 I will hold the draw and announce the winner. Anonymous donors will be included in the draw (but the name of the donor will not be announced) and everyone who has donated so far will be included in the draw.
