THE SHOWS Girls I honestly didn't think it was possible to hate this show more than I already did but…I do. When you take everyone ELSE out of the episode and give me an episode that is 95% Hannah it's nails on a chalkboard times infinity. What was up with Hannah riding that bicycle with the helmet and the horrid trash bin clothes with no socks and crazy old lady shoes? Note to Lena. NO JEANS. Is anyone honest on that set? Who talks like these people? I hate everyone in Hannah's Iowa writing class, I hate Iowa, I hate Hannah and I was jonesin big time for Adam. They gave me Elijah who I did like, until the dance scene. WHO DANCES LIKE THAT? Drugs or no drugs, drinks or no drinks. NOBODY dances like that! Didn't think I could take one more second and then what did they do to send me over the freaking edge? They had Hannah in a pool of blue goo wrestling some chick. WTF? WTF people? I'm sorry but every single second of this show makes me angry. If your daughter calls you from her new school in Iowa even saying the word suicide, you stop playing Scrabble! I'm ranting, I know I am. I HATE THIS SHOW SO MUCH. Tune in next week when I've had more time to look up synonyms for the word hate and use them
The Fosters
I'm so happy The Fosters are back. They aren't the perfect replacement for The Braverman but they will fill that family void I'll need after next weeks series finale of Parenthood. This family seems to have more drama than the Braverman. I can't get use to seeing Jack from Dawson's Creek as Robert, Callie's Dad and now he's having panic attacks and passing out at parties. I had a feeling something was off with his other daughter, Sophia, but no idea at all that she was suicidal. Even more shocking than Sophia stepping out into traffic, the fact that Callie, in real life, is Australian. I had no idea. The accent killed me! If the actor that plays Jesus isn't on steroids, then he must be working like a maniac to transform his body. He is ripped and sweaty and yes I know he's super young but he is HOT! Marianna's dance team finally performed and while there was drama there too, she did great and then quit to screw over the total b*tchy chick, Caitlyn. Brendan's hand seems better to me, but now that he has the band and Lu, he's thinking of giving up classical music and going out on the road to play in bars all over California. Betting that doesn't happen. No way will Lena and a Stef let that go down. Lena pulled a George Costanza move, that I loved. She went right back to work after quitting like nothing happened and got her job back. I guess when you have 5 kids and a mortgage you can't pay your bills on a cops salary. I can't figure out how they do it with both salaries. Makes no sense but I'm going with it because I love this show.Jane the Virgin
Jane's just the cutest thing, but Raphael is cuter. I love them together and hope they actually do stay together. No way can Xiomara regain her virginity but with the deal she cut with God she's going to have to try to keep those legs closed for a little while. She promised God she'd keep um together if he'd save her Mom. Guess what? Abuela woke up out of her coma and now Xiomara and Rogelio won't be able to do much together at all. Well, maybe each other's make-up. Raphael got his job back but I'm betting he wished he hadn't. He had layoffs, a huge hurricane, and a secret plastic surgery center to deal with. At least Petra signed the divorce papers. That was some good news until he heard that his Dad might be Sin Rostro the secret drug dealer. All this is fun but it's really the narrator who rocks this show. He's just the best, whoever he is. THE OTHER STUFF
-SO PISSED that I forgot to what The Bachelor with Jimmy Kimmel last night. I hope it's up on the Watch ABC App so I can see it. You know how January is...I'm back on my diet, back to the gym and not getting settled in to my TV position until later than usual. Damn these resolutions!
-Meredith Viera's talk show was renewed for a 2nd season. Happy for Meredith, even though I don't watch or TiVO her!
-I DVR'ed the Whitney Houston movie on Lifetime this past Saturday night. I'm not done watching it yet, but so far I'm LOVING it. I wasn't the only one...4.5 million people checked it out too. I have no idea how accurate the movie is but I gotta say I had it alllllll wrong (if the movie is right that is) Whitney ruined Bobby Brown's life, not the other way around. The movie made Bobby look like an angel. Whitney was doin blow and partying before she ever met Bobby. I also didn't realize how much her Mom hated Bobby. Like I said, I have no idea how accurate the movie was, but the music was good, and gotta give Lifetime credit...pretty sexy sex scenes!!!-Finally got some clarity on the LAFF channel and the GRIT channel. The programming will be on the Scripps and ABC O&O's digital channel or D2 channels. I had a feeling, but wanted to confirm it for us all. Lets take a poll. Have any of you amazing readers EVER watched any of the digital channels? Be honest. No judging. Just curious.
