Since spring is now on the horizon I have made a point to begin gathering dresses and key pieces that I can wear to all of the occasions that spring seems to bring (baby showers, wedding showers, luncheons). Although I always ask myself when life is going to slow down, it seems that the spring season a.k.a. my spring calendar surpasses even that of the holidays.
With my weeks and weekends quickly filling up I have started to plan one of my favorite parts of the spring season, my wardrobe. Spring is by far my favorite season of dressing. Like I mentioned before it is a season filled with events that require the best kind of dresses, the classics. Naturally, I turned to the new Brooks Brothers women’s spring collection because it is always my go-to for all of the needs of my closet. The classics, as I like to call them, are the dresses that you can wear year after year, have silhouettes that we have seen for centuries, usually consist of black & white and have bold yet refreshing prints.
When I saw this Silk Gingham Sleeveless Dress and matching Black Twill Gingham Jacket from the Brooks Brothers women’s spring collection, I knew it would be the perfect outfit for the new season. I loved the gingham print on this classic A-line dress and loved that it had a matching jacket for those chillier spring days. Trust me when I say this classic set will be worn on more than a handful occasions.
