Here at Front Row Chat we love Gilmore Girls. We love Gilmore Girls like Lorelai loves coffee, if that tells you anything. So we decided in anticipation and celebration of Netflix’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, we’d offer up some of our favorite moments. We’re starting with our top 5 favorite coffee references, because really, all good things (especially Gilmore related ones) should start with coffee. Top 5 Coffee References
Cassie: “I need coffee. Extra strong. Double caf. Triple caf. No, forget the caf. Throw in the whole cow and serve it to this man right here!” (S1E21) Lorelai’s fast talking and quick wit never ceases to amaze me. Makes you wonder just how much coffee the writers have to drink to come up with lines like this for 154 episodes. (Plus the 4 new ones!)
Aubrey: “How many cups have you had this morning?” “None.” “Plus?” “5.” (S1E1) If you’re anything like me and Lorelai, you’ve often hit that point where it’s best not to admit exactly how much caffeine you’ve had. But fear not, my friends, Front Row Chat is a judgement free zone. Let’s all just go grab another cup…or 5 
Hannah: “I can’t stop drinking the coffee. I stop drinking coffee and I stop doing the standing and walking and words putting into sentence doing.” (S4E20) – When we talked about our favorite Gilmore Girls coffee moment this one was the first one I thought of. It’s at the beginning of one of my favorite sets of episodes, the opening of the Dragonfly and the start Luke and Lorelai’s romance. Also I feel like Lorelai in this scene daily.
Lisa – “This is a jumbo coffee morning. I need coffee in an IV.” (S1E2)
Sairah- “Coffee please, and a shot of cynicism.” – Lorelai (S1E16)
