Getting an NHL Jersey...

Hi all. I am looking into getting an NHL jersey for the first time. I am likely going to get a premier one, and want to know a little bit about the sizing of the shirts.
I am 6'1" and 285, and wear an XXL.
As far as T-shirts go, an XXL is fine for me, but it's a tad short. However, my Nike NFL and NBA jerseys that are also XXL are plenty comfortable on me and plenty long.
My question is, how do NHL premier jerseys size compare to NFL jerseys by Nike? Should I be comfortable getting an XXL if my Nike XXL jerseys fit me just fine? Thanks!
