Congratulations on wanting to start living a healthier lifestyle. The first thing you want to do is get clearance from your physician. There might be some hidden issues you might not even be aware of. Once you have clearance you are ready to go. Get started with your fitness program with these three bodyweight exercises.

* Bodyweight Squats
* Assisted Push-ups
* Planks

Proper Form
When you are just starting out make sure you concentrate on the form of the move. Watching in a mirror will help you to see if you are performing the exercise properly. Study the exercise by watching the video and memorize the description. Performing an exercise without the correct form can result in injury and you will not get the results from the exercise.
Routine
* Start off with one set per exercise with fifteen reps.
* The next workout perform two sets of fifteen reps.
* Third workout perform three sets of fifteen reps.
* Perform your workout on nonconsecutive days. For example; Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
* On your off day go for a twenty minute walk.
In a month you will be ready to up your workout intensity. You will be seeing some results at this point. Always start off slow. This will prepare your body for harder workouts. It is important to keep increasing the intensity of the workouts for you to see results. The body will adapt to a workout program in about four to six weeks.
