Attention Beauty Lovers. Fall is here and winter will be here before you know it. If you are like me, the winter can wreak havoc on your lips. Chapped lips are so painful and can be so stubborn to cure. I want to share with you a few tips to keep your lips soft and moisturized during the cold months.
3 Tips To Combat Chapped Lips:

Tip 1: Use A Lip Scrub
Using a lip scrub frequently (1-3 times a week) is an amazing way to remove the dead skin from your lips. The above is a lip scrub that I love to make and use. It really removes the dead skin and keeps my lips so soft.

Tip 2: Do Not Lick Those Lips
Many people lick their lips thinking that it will provide moisture. This is FALSE. Saliva contains enzymes that break down your lip’s skin barrier. This will only make your lips even more chapped. So DO NOT LICK THOSE LIPS unless you want chapped lips.
Tip 3: Apply Balm and Apply it Frequently
To prevent yourself from licking your lips, make sure to apply a moisturizing lip balm frequently. I really love EOS lip balm. They are so fun and really moisture my lips. The fun design (egg shape) calls to me and actually makes me want to apply the balm. One of my favorite flavors is the EOS Lip Balm – Summer Fruit. It reminds me of summer even in the bitter cold winter months. I apply lip balm at least 3 times a day. I always keep one handy for when my lips are feeling dry. Make sure to keep a few in hands reach wherever you are!
