Garden Update

By Melissak

Happy Friday everyone!

The garden is doing better and better each day.  The butter lettuce has been used for sandwiches salads and all sorts of other treats.  The radishes has been used on our German inspired hotdogs.  The kale keeps getting bigger and bigger.  The zucchini started flowering and the runner beans are just going crazy.  I also planted some romaine lettuce, bell peppers, broccoli and cauliflower.  Other things growing in the garden are strawberries, basil, dill, thyme, flat leaf parsley, parsley sage, catnip, cherry tomatoes, beefsteak tomatoes, spinach and cucumber.

Who knows what else I will plant, I’ve gone mental with my vegetable garden.

The front garden.  Its getting there, but I don’t know if the grass will ever grow.  We planted some lawn seeds and its growing in random patches.

Added some bamboo reeds to the garden for the tomatoes.  I also wrapped string around them for the birds.

When the grass finally grows.  I will feel terrible for Belphie.  No more dust baths for you kitty.

Have a lovely weekend everybody.
