Samsung has announced another big smartphone, the Galaxy Grand 2. This is the successor to the Samsung’s affordable phablet-sized smartphone announced back in December, 2012. Samsung claims the new device is perfect for reading eBooks, watching videos and playing games as it offers 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of calls thanks to its’ long-lasting 2,600mAh battery.
Galaxy Grand 2 sports a massive 5.25-inch HD display with 1280 x 720 resolution, Quad Core chip clocked at 1.2GHz, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of Internal Memory and gets powered by Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Grand 2′s 8MP camera on the back features innovative options such as Best Face, Best Photo and Continuous Shot. And, the device also has Samsung’s Story Album, S Translator, S Travel, Samsung Hub, and Samsung Link apps pre-installed.

Samsung mentions that this smartphone is available in “selective regions” in white, black, and pink color options. Although, it haven’t revealed the pricing or the exact release date of the device.
