Friday Food Fight Ep03

By Prettyandtasty1 @prettyandtasty
Fridays have just got better! Beat street MCR has bought together a combination of great street food from independent restaurants, street food vendors and a host of dj's under one snazzy location in Manchester. But it's not here to stay as it's only planned to run for a consecutive 12 weeks (Fridays only!)
This rates highly compared to most street food events as each week features around 10 different foody vendors and a different Dj so a little something for everyone I guess. Food ranges from the Big Manc burger creators; Solita to fresh sushi makers at Umezsushi to unique dishes from Nutters and much more.

So here is what I munched on at ep 03...

Chicken and chorizo tacos by Lucha Libre - £4.50 Friday food fight ep03
Tacos were soft, filling smothered in BBQ goodness and topped with extra hot habanero sauce (just how I like it). Great price and tasty little starter.
My friend had the veggie tacos which was a mixture of kidney beans, onions and peppers topped with fresh avocado and green habanero sauce. Friday food fight ep03
Next up the all mighty pulled pork hot dog by Piggy Smalls - £6.50 Friday food fight ep03
Spicy hot dog topped with succulent BBQ pulled pork served on a brioche bun. This was heaven!!! I also liked how you can choose your own sauces and toppings so I went all out with gherkins, jalapeños, chilli sauce, Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and bacon mustard. Mmmm meaty goodness. I would definitely go back just for a piggy smalls hot dog!
And all was washed down with pomegranate cider. Looking forward to the next few episodes of Friday food fight for sure!

Looking forward to ep 04!
