Fourth of July, with it’s good ol’ barbecue, patriotism, and the joy that comes with getting a summer Friday off. It’s arguably the most important day of the summer for an American. For a Texan there’s no comparison – everything IS bigger. Louder, bolder, prouder. The nations colors are adored and pool parties are filled with striped swim trunks and star-spangled bikinis.
Today, I chose to wear denim because it doesn’t get more down to the USA root than that. Paired with a jeans jacket, I wore my own type of stripes with this simple midi t-shirt dress. To finish off the look, I wore a signature Taylor Swift red lip. She isn’t the only one who can make red lipstick casual.
