Seems like everyone’s getting into the “deals” act. Now it’s not just sites like Groupon and LivingSocial, but Wheel of Fortune of all people. Seems that for a while now, Wheel of Fortune has been promoting these daily Wheel of Fortune Deals on their show for a little while now.
This particular deal is a fantastic one. You can get a free customized 20-page 8×8″ photo book with a hard photo cover from Shutterfly for free. Well, almost free…you make a $1 donation to cancer research. Oddly, they don’t give the name of the cancer charity other than to say that your dollar will go to “help fund medical research and educational programs that support the fight against cancer”. But still, Wheel of Fortune is of course a legitimate organization, so you can be sure your dollar will be going where it should.
The photo book is a $29.99 value. After you donate your #1 you’ll get a promotion voucher that can be redeemed from now until 9/16/12 (when the promotional value of the offer will expire). Shipping and taxes are extra, and there are a bunch of limitations on the type of book you can get. Still this is one of those deals where you can do some good and get something great out of it while you’re at it. These books make great gifts and are great ways to commemorate special events or trips.
