Franz : To Help You Get All Your Social Messaging Apps at One Place

These days, it is common for people to have more social networking apps then friends in life. We may be connected to thousands of people online, but finding a good friend is getting rarer and rarer.

Anyway, I'm not here to discuss ways to make good friends. This post is about Franz, an app that can collect various social networks together and help you manage them seamlessly.

What is Franz:

Franz is a social networking app which lets users integrate their various social networks and easily access them and chat on them using just one app. Users can take advantage of this app to combine their WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Skype, WeChat, TweetDeck, Telegram, Hangouts, Yahoo! Messenger and several other such popular services. All these services get their own separate tabs in Franz and can be easily accessed just by clicking on the relevant tab.

Review of Franz:

I have been trying Franz since past couple of days. And so far, I've faced no problem while using it. It has been working smoothly and doesn't seem to slow down my computer. Here are what I think its major pros and cons.

What I liked:

• It took less than 2 minutes to download and install on my laptop.
• There is no complicated setup required. When you start it for the first time, all you need is to add the services of your choice. That would require you inputting the usernames and passwords of these services on Franz. Other than that, this app is awesomely simple and easy to use.
• Of course, the greatest benefit of Franz is that you can use multiple services like Gmail, Inbox, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger by keeping open just one app. That does reduce the hassle.
• It's free!

What I didn't like:

As yet, Franz is available only for Windows, Mac and Linux platforms. In short, you can use it on computers but not on your smartphones. But such a service is greatly needed on smartphones, don't you think?

Overall, if you spend most of your time on computer and have difficulty managing your various social networking apps, then this little software is a must try. It is free to use. And if simplicity and ease of use is the hallmark of a great app, then Franz definitely scores big on it.
