FOTD: Neutral With a Pop Of Glitter

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
It has been quite some time since I have done a FOTD post. I have quite a few new things to try out and I wanted to put them to the test, so I will include a few first impressions along the way.
I'm sorry if some of the pictures look a little blurry. My camera has suddenly started to take less than stellar pictures and I am not sure what to do. I've cleaned the lens and played around with the settings, but no luck. =(
To prime my eyes, I used Laura Mercier's Eye Basics in Linen. To set it, I used the shade Classic from Tarte's Tarteist Pro Eyeshadow Palette.
On the lid, I used M.A.C's Loose Pigment in Stardream and Handsome Prince on the outer corners. Both of these colors are from M.A.C's Nutcracker Sweet Bronze Pigments and Glitter Kit

To help blend everything and add some definition to the crease, I used Bold from the Tarteist Pro Palette. On the brow bone, I used M.A.C's Loose Pigment in Sugar Rush. I wanted a pop of glitter, so I used M.A.C's glitter in Reigning Riches on the inner corner. These two are also from the Bronze Pigments and Glitter Kit. I love the Tarteist Pro palette so far. The colors are easy to blend and have pretty good pigment. The M.A.C set is nice, but not as good as the bronze one, I'll have a review up of it soon.

For my liner, I used Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Midnight. Who new a liquid lipstick could make such a great eyeliner?

To prime my face, I used Makeup Forever's Mattifying Skin Equalizer and LA Girl's Pro Concealer in green to help counteract any redness. For foundation, I used LA Girl's new Pro Foundation, which I am really liking. The coverage is nice, it wears well, and it is easy to apply.

To highlight, I used LA Girl's new Strobing Powder in 110 Watt. This stuff is intense! I am very impressed by it so far. On my lips, I used ColourPop's Ultra Matte Lip in Midi topped with Jouer's Lip Topper in Frost Bite. Frost Bite is stunning! It adds the perfect amount of shimmer to a look.

I may not be posting a lot between now and the first of the year. A lot is going on and quite frankly I am a little tired. I also don't want to use pictures that have such poor quality. I'll still be active on Instagram and Snapchat, though. I hope you are having a great week so far!
