FOTD: Fresh Faced and Awake (featuring Lorac's Pro Palette)

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I have been meaning to do this post for a few days, but today seemed perfect since I went to bed very late.  I went to bed so late that it can almost be said I went to bed early.  I did not fall asleep until 4:30 or 5:00 and woke up at 10:00.
Skincare
My morning and nightly skincare routine were an important part of this FOTD.  Last night, I used my new Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser, Queen Helene Mud Pack Masque, WalGreens Alpha Hydroxy Face Cream, Guerlain Orchidee Imperiale Exceptional Complete Care Cream and Guerlain Abeille Royale eye cream.  When I woke up this morning, my mom actually commented on how bright my skin looked.  The Guerlain products are amazing, but very expensive.  I have been using deluxe samples of them.  You just need a good moisturizing face and eye cream.  The Alpha Hydroxy cream is a gentle exfoilatant, so it will get rid of dull, dead skin.  The Mud Pack Masque is a great, cheap masque with kaolin clay so it draws out impurities and dirt while making skin soft.  This morning I used the same cleanser, moisturizer and eye cream.   I just added The Body Shop Vitamin C Skin Boost to keep my skin soft and add extra brightmess.  Plus Vitamin C is a strong antioxidant and protects your skin will reducing skin discoloration.

Steps
1.) I applied one pump on The Body Shop's Vitamin C Skin Boost and let it dry for a bit.  It adds extra moisture and is good for your skin.
2.) I applied Too Faced Shadow Insurance and let sit.
3.) I applied the apricot tinted concealer from the MUFE palette under my eyes.  Orange or apricot concealers cover up dark circles.  I also applied the green concealer around my nose to cover up redness.
4.) I used the shade Cream from the Pro Palette as my all over shade.  I used Lt Bronze on the lid and blended a little into the crease.  I used a bit of Taupe in the crease to give a bit of definition.  For highlighting, I used Nude under my eyebrows and Champagne in the inner corners.  I used Sable to line my upper lash line.  To look vibrant and awake, it is very important not to forget the highlighting.  It brings light to your eyes and the touch of shimmer adds even more vibrance.
5.)  I used the darkest shade from Urban Decay's Brow Box.  Filling in the brows adds a finishing touch and makes you eyes pop.
6.)  I applied the Perfecting Lash Primer and let sit for a few seconds.  Then I added two coats of the Mega Plush mascara.
7.) After taking care of my eyes, I applied my foundation.  I use N1-2 in the True Match Lumi line.  This also has Vitamin C and brightening/clarifying properties.
8.) I applied the lightest concealer over blemishes.
9.) I used the luminizer part of the Maracuja Blush and Glow on my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose.  Then I applied the blush on the apples of my cheeks.
10.) I finished off the look with a glossy nude like Beauty Rush's Glossy Lip Tint in Better than Bare.
Thanks to those steps, I was able to look more human than zombie like.
