Basically, Popcorn Time is a media player for torrents. Once installed on your computer, it will allow you to pick from a wide selection of latest movies and TV shows to stream anything you want via high quality torrents, in HD or Full HD, for free, without any downloading delays. Noah, RoboCop, Transcendence or even Breaking Bad, Dexter, you name it, this app got it all.
As you may have figured it out by now, Popcorn Time is not really a Hollywood-friendly service, since it involves torrents and downloading copyrighted material. Some even referred to it as “Netflix for pirates”. So, it didn’t take long for the Popcorn Time developers to get bombarded with several lawsuits. As a result, the original Popcorn Time team decided to pull the app and stay safe. Thankfully, they did make the code for the app open source, allowing others to try and make something out of it. Not long after that, several other developer groups started making forks out of Popcorn Time. Time4Popcorn is one them.

Currently, Time4Popcorn has the most stable fork of Popcorn Time app. They have versions for Linux, MacOS, and for Windows starting with XP. They even launched an Android app just recently, which works fine for streaming movies on your tabs and phones. However, the best feature of Time4Popcorn’s app is that it even has an integrated free VPN, which allows users to stream torrents anonymously, without giving away their IP-address.
“The first goal for Popcorn Time is to make the best viewing experience for all our users, and the other is to make the safest watching experience so all our users can fulfill the first goal without getting in trouble,” the Time4Popcorn team told TorrentFreak.
According to TorrentFreak, millions of users are already using Time4Popcorn’s Popcorn Time streaming app with “tens of thousands of people” downloading the app every day. You can also download Popcorn Time for PC, as well as the APK for Android via Time4Popcorn website.
