For Consideration

Posted on the 14 November 2014 by Cathy Leaves @cathyleaves
Some days you sit down to write … well, your focus is wandering. There is something else on your mind, and you just can’t reach the thing that you are trying to write about. So you sit down and try, and you might not do your best. But the idea that there is that “terror of the white page?” There is no “terror of the white page.” It’s just that you don’t feel like writing what you actually have to.Now the thing is, if the stuff you are trying to write is very painful for you—and this is a very important distinction—then you might have a very hard time trying to get it out right. It might just come out wrong.
