Focused Content

Posted on the 22 February 2017 by Hmcurator

Reading Kevin Muldoon‘s blog post, Why You Need Your Content to Stay Focused, has made me feel rather guilty. I know I have been posting a lot in the Website business category recently, and not very much in the New exhibit category, but that is where I have been spending my time and energy.

If my posts that are not directly related to Harvey Comics or toy collecting are distracting, to the point that it is costing me subscribers, that is very upsetting to me. I felt it was very important to warn you, my readers, that this website might be unavailable for a while, and why. And part of the reason I run this website is to learn about running websites, and I like to post about what I am doing and what is going on behind the scenes.

To stay focused on the Harvey Mercheum exhibits, I suggest using the “Recent Exhibits” list and “Browse Collection By” tree in the left navigation bar. You may also use the “New exhibit” category linked above to browse the blog.

How do you feel about “off topic” content? Leave a comment below or use the Contact the Curator form to let me know!
