FLPOS Michelle Calls Poor-little-rich-girl Hillary “Hildebeest”

Hillary Clinton, aka the Hildebeest?

There is no love lost between First Lady of Snot Mooch and Hillary “What difference does it make” Clinton.

According to journalist Edward Klein’s new book, Blood Feud, the Obamas and the Clintons absolutely cannot stand each other. In an essay for the New York Post, June 21, 2014, Klein writes:

Outwardly, they put on a show of unity — but privately, the Obamas and Clintons, the two power couples of the Democratic Party, loathe each other.

“I hate that man Obama more than any man I’ve ever met, more than any man who ever lived,” Bill Clinton said to friends on one occasion, adding he would never forgive Obama for suggesting he [Bill Clinton] was a racist during the 2008 campaign.

The feeling is mutual. Obama made excuses not to talk to Bill, while the first lady privately sniped about Hillary.

On most evenings, Michelle Obama and her trusted adviser, Valerie Jarrett, met in a quiet corner of the White House residence. They’d usually open a bottle of Chardonnay, catch up on news about Sasha and Malia, and gossip about people who gave them heartburn.

Their favorite bête noire was Hillary Clinton, whom they nicknamed “Hildebeest,” after the menacing and shaggy-maned gnu that roams the Serengeti.

But then Mooch seems to hate everyone.

Remember this from June 2009?

vulcan death stare1
Mooch gave the Vulcan death stare to then First Lady of France Mrs. Sarkozy, the former high fashion model Carla Bruni. If looks could kill, Mrs. Sarkozy would have dropped dead then and there.

Meanwhile, Hildebeest has not learnt from her poor-me pity-party about being “dead broke” when she and Bill left the White House, despite the two making $12 million in that first year.

On Saturday, June 21, Hildebeest opened her big mouth again to insert her other foot.

She told the Guardian that she and Bill are not like “a lot of people who are truly well off” because they work hard and pay income taxes, never mind the fact that:

  • The Clintons have a net worth of $100 million or more.
  • The Clintons have made an estimated $155 million since leaving the White House in 2001, which makes them the wealthiest former first family in America.
  • To date, Bill has been paid $2.6 million of his White House pension.
  • Hillary earned approximately $2 million during her second career, first as United States Senator and later Secretary of State.
  • Since she left the State Department last year, Hillary has made roughly $5 million in speeches and more than $16 million in advances for her two memoirs, In Living History (2003) and Hard Choices (2014).

A net worth of $100 million is not truly well-off!

No wonder Hildebeest’s fellow Demonrats are starting to circle round like sharks smelling blood in the water.

Dick Harpootlian, a former Democratic Party chairman in South Carolina, told The Washington Post, “I don’t know whether it’s just that she’s been ‘Madam Secretary’ for so long, but she’s generating an imperial image. She’s been living 30, going on 40 years with somebody bringing your coffee to you every morning. Is it more Downton Abbey than it is America?”

This morning, VPOS Joe Biden chimed in, asking the audience at the White House’s “Working Families Summit” to cut him some slack because his personal wealth falls short of the Clintons’. Declaring himself “the poorest man in Congress,” the VPOS said, “Don’t hold it against me that I don’t own a single stock or bond . . . . I have no savings accounts. But I got a great pension and I get a good salary.”

Actually, Biden’s financial disclosures suggest a net worth of around $800,000, which though “not truly well off,” is more than ten times the median U.S. family networth of $77,300 in 2010. That year, a networth of just $300,000 — $500,000 less than Biden’s — would catapult you into the top 10% of Americans in wealth.

In other words, VPOS Biden is only a little less removed from the realities of many Americans than the Hildebeest. Such is our ruling class.
